New: 7th hospitalityInside IHIF / ITB SPECIAL 2017 as print & eMagazine

  Cover ITB IHIF Special

Augsburg (March 3, 2017). Did you know that Airbnb and Uber are not (!) disruptive companies? The Harvard professor, who invented this term, is upset about its misuse. Stay tuned for these topics in the new hospitalityInside IHIF / ITB SPECIAL which we present to you online here. As of today, the printed version is distributed in Berlin.

For the ITB hotel conference, the "ITB Hospitality Day", HospitalityInside has been media partner for 12 years now; however, we are participating at International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) for the first time this year. Therefore, this SPECIAL debuts topics from hotel operations as well as investment.

The articles also focus, in excerpts, on breathless deal-markers chasing prime locations especially in Germany, on the successful lifestyle boutique brand 25hours Hotels into which the expansion-hungry AccorHotels are investing, and on Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality entering the tourism industry. The message of video bloggers reaches us from China and many Chinese over here say: Beijing duck? No, thank you. It is furthermore about young, unknown budget groups and the upgrading rage of the budget market leaders – hidden behind the question: "17 sqm and upgrading without limitations?" And of course, the Airbnb topic should not be missing.

These articles are only available behind the paywall as our online hotel expert magazine is solely financed by subscriptions. We do not accept any advertisements in order to be able to concentrate exclusively on our readers' interests. In light of the political and social developments around the world, which are leading increasingly to "fake news", we will continue doing things our way undeterred. So far, readers in more than 20 countries have been grateful for our straightforwardness and transparency.

Alongside the magazine, the publishing company HospitalityInside made a name of themselves as networking and event platform. This is why you will also find the co-exhibitors of the ITB joint stand "World of Hospitality" in this SPECIAL: a successful roundup. Co-exhibitors of the ITB "World of Hospitality" are: the digital signature und IPTV specialist Macnetix, the digital content distribution provider Media Carrier, the software developer NextGenOpti and the hotel groups Motel One and Premier Inn.

Like always, the high quality-design magazine is available in both German and English. 3,600 copies are distributed at ITB and IHIF and at many hotels in Berlin. Visitors will get their complimentary copy at the IHIF press table, during ITB at the joint stand in hall 9 (booth 108), also at the hotel conference "ITB Hospitality Day" on Thursday in Hall 7.1b/Auditorium London, as well as at the ITB Expert Forum Wellness in Hall 7.3a/Auditorium Berlin 1 on Thursday only. / kn
