Expo Real 2013: Joint stand becomes even bigger – Registration underway

Munich (April 12, 2013). Germany is sexy – and the Expo Real in Munich is too. This is at least valid for the hospitality industry in which many institutional and private investors would like to invest. At the moment, they see a safe haven in Germany. This is the same for hotel operators and developers who choose the path of Germany as Europe's biggest and strongest market, particularly for the introduction of new brands.

As a result, the 3rd joint stand "World of Hospitality" at the Expo Real in October, 2013 will once again grow strongly as a communication, presentation and contact platform: Nearly every co-exhibitor from the previous year has already confirmed once more.

Alongside the hotel chains, Accor Hospitality, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Grand City Hotels and the Louvre Hotel Group, Kempinski Hotels, Marriott International, Choice Hotels as well as Derag LivingHotels will utilise "World of Hospitality" to expedite their expansion. Those who would like to co-exhibit at the stand or wish to benefit from the early booker discount must hurry – the positions will become scarce and the early booker period ends on the 25th of April.

The hospitality industry has encountered interest in taking part in leading trade fair for real estate and investments in Europe with a consistently growing resonance. This is also evident in the size of the stand: What began in 2011 with 78 square metres of stand area will be extended this year to approximately 220 square metres. "The exact size of the stand can, of course, only be determined after the final deadline for applications," says Michael Willems, Managing Director of the hotel industry-specific publishing company HospitalityInside, who had initiated and has been organising 'World of Hospitality' since the beginning. "However, it is extremely pleasing that today, almost all previous stand partners are returning and new, internationally-renowned and global hotel groups have decided to join and by this expand the 'World of Hospitality' into exactly what the name says."

According to the registration status this week, Marriott International, and the Serviced Apartment specialist, Derag Livinghotels, as well as Kempinski Hotels and Choice Hotels have confirmed for the joint stand 2013 for the first time. Kempinski and Choice had participating as sponsors of BRICKS & BRAINS since its beginning. With this, top names from the hospitality industry will expand the already considerable number of illustrious names from Accor, IHG, Louvre and Grand City, among others.

From the hotel-specific consulting companies, BBG-Consulting, Christie+Co, Hotour Hotel Consulting and Jung & Schleicher law firm have confirmed once again. Also architect and hotel developer Oliver Massabni (A2 hotelconcept), who had sniffed the Expo Real air as a logo partner of the first "World of Hospitality" under the label "hotelknowhow" two years ago and operated already its own stand last year will be returning.

At the moment, more than 80% of the available positions are already booked or reserved. Those who would also like to enjoy the early booker discount should register by the 25th of April, 2013.

Networking event "BRICKS & BRAINS"

Just as the stand has developed into a central hospitality magnet at the Expo Real, the networking event "Bricks & Brains" on Monday evening has also been a popular insider meeting for years. Likewise this year, the top management from up to 70 companies will wind down the first fair day with a relaxed get-together. Due to the limited number of guests, it remains with the strict "By Invitation Only" mode and will take place this year in a quite special atmosphere – this much we can divulge.
