Both managers are getting more involved in digitalisation than ever before due to the crisis: After all, this will also promote differentiation among global chains. Before joining IHG, he gained experience in digital and eCommerce at Mandarin Oriental, Hilton, Travelport and Travelocity and knows from many different perspectives how difficult it is to convey the digital mindset to the artisan service provider hotel. Within the Customer Journey, he currently sees a mega potential in the "Stay" phase of the guest – thanks to digitalization and thanks to Corona.
