Dr. Noha Ahmed Al-Harthi currently heads the Emerging Technologies department of Technology, Research, and Innovation at NEOM. Since joining NEOM in 2020 as the Technology Lead of Tech & Digital, she has been at the forefront of establishing and leading cutting-edge initiatives in emerging technologies, focusing on advanced robotics, human-machine interfaces, computation, and research.
In her current role at NEOM, Noha's efforts have been pivotal in launching groundbreaking initiatives aimed at establishing NEOM as the leading hub for innovation. Her leadership and scientific achievements have earned her national and international acclaim, including being named the 2022 Science and Technology 'Woman of the Year' and becoming the first Saudi female drone pilot. A career highlight includes receiving the prestigious Gauss Award in Extreme Computing.
A proud alumna of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Noha earned her Master's and Ph.D. degrees, specializing in high-performance computing. She maintains her dedication to academia and innovation by serving on various educational steering committees and has recently been appointed as a member of the NEOM Executive Committee as a high-potential leader.
